| The Smyrna Church of Christ College Ministry is here to help our college-age members stay connected to the Lord, His church, and one another throughout the early years of adulthood. This ministry is vital, as the faith formed and matured during this phase of life becomes foundational for the rest of life. |

| The College ministry strives to maintain the goals of
connection through classes, LIFE Group meetings and devotionals, regular correspondence,
and special events and gatherings. |

| Classes |
| |
| The college class meets on Sunday mornings
at 9:30 AM and at 7:00 PM on Wednesday evenings in Room 202 (downstairs beneath
the fellowship hall). Because our ministry is comprised of some members who live,
work, and go to school locally and others (most) who do not, class size ebbs and
flows with the school calendar. As
a result, we appreciate how the Lord blesses us when we come together in a group
of seven or of twenty-seven. |

| LIFE Group
Meetings and Devotionals |
| |
| Because
many members of the college ministry are away at school when the rest of the congregation
is meeting in LIFE Groups (August-May), the college ministry meets weekly for LIFE
Groups throughout the summer and during holidays when the rest of LIFE Groups are
on break. And, during the school year we meet once a month at various locations where our students study and live.
These LIFE Group meetings are devotionals. We meet together in a member’s home
for a time of study, discussion, singing, and prayer. Usually we end meetings with a time of food and fun where we visit and catch
up with one another. |

| One of the time-honored traditions of the
Smyrna College Ministry is care packages. Once in the fall and once in the spring our students receive a care-package reminding them
that we love and pray for them. In addition to care packages, we keep up with one another through e-mail,
text-messaging, and on-line messaging. |
| |
| Special Events & Gatherings: |
| |
| We have a
few regular annual events that students should be sure to make room for on their calendars. The spring retreat takes place in May
after school is out. In December we have a Christmas dinner and throughout the year we make trips to schools some of our students attend.
