Through the power of God's Holy Spirit, we will work to seek and save the lost by proclaiming the Gospel in word and deed, in order to make mature Disciples of Christ who share Him with others.

Missions Ministry At Smyrna - NEW ZEALAND
 
The work in Christchurch, New Zealand, began in January 2006 with a dream of planting a congregation of the Lord's church in this city of 500,000 people. The team included three families from Toowoomba, Australia, who had bee studying and preparing for several years.
 
 
  • Troy Followes, his wife Kara and their three children (Ethan, Seth, and Emma) lead the team.

  • Matthew Burke, his wife Karen, and their two children (Saul and Dion). Matthew is an accountant employed by GE. Karen is a homemaker.

  • Janene Martin is single and works as a florist.

    This ministry has been most successful at reaching the international community living in Christchurch although a few native New Zealanders (know as Kiwi) are active members.
