Well, hello at last, I am glad you found our website. Since you are here, let me tell you a little about myself and the church here in Smyrna. When I first came to Smyrna thirty years ago, I was much like you. I wondered how well I would fit in and how much I would feel at home. Right away, I found Smyrna to be a warm and friendly church family. My wife and I have made friends that will last us a lifetime. Even though the church has doubled in size since that time, I’m glad to say that the warm family atmosphere still remains. I assure you that if you come, you will be greeted by more than one individual before you leave. In fact, as the preacher, I will personally try to welcome you because I want you to experience what I have all these wonderful years.

No matter what your age, we have something to offer you as a member of our church. Naturally, we want to serve you but also allow you the opportunity to experience the joy of serving others as well. We have a great children’s ministry directed by Kelly Anguish and her wonderful staff of volunteers. Just take a look at her page on our website and notice all the children having a good time in Bible class.

Our rooms and halls are decorated with bright and beautiful pictures of Bible times and Bible characters that we would like to teach your children about.

We also have a great teenage youth group of about 80. JP Conway directs this ongoing, fast-paced, Bible-learning crowd of kids with all kinds of activities that keep them in the Word and following Jesus. JP knows how important it is to lead kids to a higher calling in Christ. With over eight years of ministry in this area, JP is very effective in working with the teens, one-on-one and collectively.
